Las Vegas, Day 4

Las Vegas, here I am! To make up for my short trip to Denver, I am staying 2 nights in Las Vegas. This morning when I woke up, I decided I wanted to do something adventurous. So I looked online, and found an indoor skydiving tour. Let's face it, what is more adventurous than skydiving? I entered this padded room that reminded me like a bouncy castle. I had to wear a strange suit, and then a fan started to blow. Suddenly, up I went! It was really fun. Of course I was under supervision of a person who knew what they were doing in case anything went wrong.

The Titanic
After that, I was rather worn out. So I went back to my hotel and fell asleep. When I woke up, I remembered that earlier I had purchased tickets to this Titanic exhibit. It was a good thing I purchased 2, because guess who arrived to visit me? My sister! She said she was dropping in and then leaving on her own 80 day project. So we went to the titanic exhibit, and I actually enjoyed myself. The tour guide told a horrifying story of passengers and showed artifacts that had been recovered. Even a piece of the Titanic itself was in the exhibit. It was a wonderful tour.

The famous see-through Skywalk bridge, suspended over 4000 feet
in the air.
After this, I was even more tired, so I stopped at McDonald's for an early dinner and got to bed early. The next morning, I decided to take a tour of the Grand Canyon. I caught a helicopter ride with a group of people, expecting an air tour. But nooooooo! I had to walk across that stupid Skywalk bridge too! I had just tossed $487 of my money down the toilet just to poop my pants. Wonderful.

Tomorrow I am leaving for Sacramento.

Good Night Journal.
