Boston! Day 1 & Day 2

Hello Journal! Today marks the start of my traveling the world in 80 days! I start here in Boston, a city of commotion and lots of traffic.

I am going to see if I can catch a train to Chicago, my first stop. But for right now, I am stuck in the horrible downtown traffic terror.

Hurrah! I am on the train to Chicago. I should be there in an hour or so. For now, I am going to nap.

I can't believe it! I am in Chicago. It is much like Boston, with large crowds and streets humming with excitement. Chicago is in Illinois, instead of Massachusetts.

A photo from the cruise of Chicago's outline at night.
The first thing I did that night was catch the 3 hour sunset cruise and buffet. It was a wonderful tour. Tomorrow, I am going to take another daytime tour and see the Hancock Observatory.

Al Capone's Mug Shots.
This tour was great! I found out a lot of things I never knew about Chicago. Did you know the worst accident was in 1915 when a steamer capsized? It claimed over 800 lives. In the 1920's, gangsters came into the picture, including the famous Al Capone.

Tonight will be my last night in Chicago. I had a great time. I don't know where I will go next. I want to go to California, so I am going to try to catch a train there. I hope to visit Chicago again, after I am done traveling the world.

Goodbye For Now Journal.
